Our Open Gardens - Sunday 8th June 2025

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Open Garden Event a memorable day, and in the process helped to raise £376.95 for Cheshire Wildlife Trust.

The day’s weather forecast didn’t look great, with drizzle starting as we were setting up but by 2 o’clock the skies had cleared and thankfully it remained dry for the rest of the afternoon.

It was lovely to see people mingling on the green, building bug hotels, enjoying the selection of cakes available and taking part in the CWT raffle. All the gardens were stunning, so thank you to all the garden hosts for opening and sharing your outdoor spaces with the rest of the village without which the event couldn’t have happened.

Thank you also to Clive and Lynne for organising the very enjoyable and informative tours of their garden and vineyard… can’t wait to taste the fruits of your labours next year 😀🍾
