VE Day 80th Celebration Village Picnic - Sunday 11th May 2pm - 4pm
As part of our VE Day celebrations we will be holding our annual picnic on the village green, on Sunday, 11th May. This is a great opportunity to come together and celebrate this moment of history.
As well as the usual bring your own picnic, there will be games to play, samples of WW2 cakes and 1940s music.
There will be trestle tables in place on the green so everyone can picnic together. Just bring your own chairs.
In addition please feel free to dress for the occasion – in red, white and blue or 1940s attire.
