VE Day 80th Anniversary - Thursday 8th May 2025

Willington turned out in impressive numbers to celebrate VE Day 80 on Thursday 8th May.

The Boot Inn served a fish and chip supper, enjoyed by all in the red, white and blue decorated pub.

A tribute and brief moment of silence were immaculately observed and ‘I Vow to Thee My Country’ was sung with gusto.
