Our Open Gardens - Sunday 8th June 2025

**THIS EVENT IS EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE RESIDENTS OF WILLINGTON
ALONG WITH THEIR FAMILY & FRIENDS**

After the huge success of the first Willington Open Gardens in 2023, the event is to be repeated this summer on Sunday 8th June 20205, in aid of the Cheshire Wildlife Trust.

This is a wonderful opportunity to socialise with neighbours whilst strolling through our lovely village to admire – and get ideas from – some of its beautiful gardens and their settings.  There will be transport from the Green to the more outlying gardens, if required.

On the Green there will be refreshments of cold drinks and cakes, and also a plant swap – bring along any excess plants you might have and swap them for something different!

For the children, there will be a letter-finding game within the open gardens, with the letters they find making up the name of a species of wild animal protected by the Wildlife Trust in Cheshire.  There will also be Bee Hotel building on the Green.

Five gardens have currently been kindly offered for opening – if you would like your garden to be included, please get in touch.  Similarly, if you would like to offer general help with organising, or to contribute cakes for the refreshment stand, this would be most welcome.
